Gentlemen -

One year ago today my TR arrived.

With the incredible help of BCF members, here's a partial list of what I've done in the last 12 months:

- replaced the starter
- repaired the oil pressure gauge
- greased every zerk fitting in the universe
- correctly wired the turn signals, brake lights, panel lights, high beam indicator, heater switch
- cleaned up and added missing straps to spare compartment
- rebuilt, reset, rebalanced carbs
- restored choke/jets to proper function
- added the missing door draft seals
- fitted new hoodstick cover
- added heat insulation under all carpeting
- made new needle for fuel gauge
- cleaned all gauges, panel lights, switches
- refinished panel with black wrinkle paint
- added 90wt oil to (dry) steering column
- repaired rusted out areas on both floorpans
- polished rocker cover and dashpots
- cleaned wiper motor/gearbox and restored autopark
- replaced prop shaft u-joints
- repaired motor and refitted windscreen wipers
- replaced broken bonnet cover hinges
- replaced all throttle linkage (except butterfly shaft)
- repaired rusted battery box
- changed oil and filter cartridge
- flushed heater core
- got new Minators and Kumhos
- did a little "cleanup" of the engine bay

A gazillion thanks to you guys on TeeYah's "first Connecticut anniversary"!

Tom

Here's some "before and after". Pay no attention to the ol' vagrant who suddenly appeared in the last pic ....

Good on you, Tom!

Looks great! :thirsty: You got alot accomplished.

Tom,

It was about this time last year that I stopped to see your new purchase. As the cigarette ads used to say, "You've come a long way, baby!"

Congratulations Tom. You have achieved a lot in a year and the car is looking great.
You have also helped quite a number of other members of the BCF in that time.
Keep up the good work.
Nick

Wow. that engine bay has come along nicely.
What a good first year!
here's to many more
 :thirsty:

Hey guys - thanks for the positive vibes.

I think we should *all* exchange "presence".

In honor of TeeYah's first Connecticut anniversary, I gave BCF a PayPal present!

Live long and prosper.

T.

What a beautiful TR-3! I think the hard tops really make TR-3s look great.

Great job!
