Good morning all, just joined but spend little time on computer which makes my bride very happy as I can crash them without trying ! Bought my 66 3000 in 1972 and last driven in 1981. Have spent the last 3.5 years dis-assembling and re-assembling and am very close to putting a battery in it to see if the total restoration will come to life. This is my first time doing something like this , needed to do something challenging besides general contracting ( retired ). This is a total frame off effort, as close to concource as possible and refurbished all possible parts to keep as close to original as I could. What a learning experience ! Needless to say my budget was busted after body work and paint. I enjoy seeing information on "how to" as you find out you dont know what you dont know .
