I would like to mount a small fire extinguisher in my TR6. Where is the ideal spot?
On the shelf? Below your feet?
Any pics of your installation would be appreciated, thanks.

on the floor behind the passengers feet is where a lot of rally cars mount them, as its still accessible to the driver without impeding any fancy foot work.

Thank you Cam.

I find in my TR6, there is enough room just to lay it on the floor behind the passenger seat. I don't have it mounted. It's easy to reach if need be.

Cheers

So your assumption is that the fire is in the cockpit. More likely that the fire is in the engine compartment. So I want to be out of the car to begin with and go from there. Just a matter of choice.
