Finished Phase I of my MG project-pics...

Well, I finished phase I of my MGB-GT project today. I put on 15" minilites with 195/60 by 15 tires. The other parts were new poly bushes all around, new springs in the front, a 5/8" sway bar, rally springs in the rear, heavy duty shock valves all around, new exhaust (stock for now) and amber Hella 500's. Here's some links to some pics. I like the way it drives but it doesn't feel as "nippy" as it did on the 14" wheels. Also, with the suspension this way it feels very solid and smooth. Not very much like an old MG! I kind of miss the shakes, now I can really feel the need for more power!

That's one fine looking GT!!!!

I wish mine looked that good. Actually, I'd be happy if mine was streetable!

Very sharp! I can't wait to see phase two.

Awesome looking love that color

Very pretty! Makes me want a BGT. Okay, I wanted one anyway. I guess yours makes me want one more.

It looks lovely!

It occurrs to me you live within a stones' throw of VickieBrit... Glad it's you, not me... SWMBO would have my drivers' license revoked if I were THAT close to a parts house. After the first week they'd think I worked there.

Yes, I just drive over and pick stuff up all the time, and then once I'm there, I end up getting something else! That's how I picked up the 5/8" sway bar-went to get something else and figured while I'm at it I'll just get the sway bar, too! I bought the wheels one at a time as I could afford it-they thought it was kind of funny buyt geez, $215 a piece is pretty expensive.

A lesson learned from observing ants, no doubt.
