finish on 948 air-filters

I have somewhere seen the stickers that go on the air filters as well. Might even be Moss or VB.

I know that the folks over on the mgbbs spridget board have had experience with wrinkle paint. They can give you pointers on temperature/curing/thickness to get the effect you want.

I'm not sure it is wrinlke paint it is kind of a silver gray modeled stuff. As I remember it was smooth, kind of like a mix that wasn't mixed well. In fact look on pages 28 and 32 of the Orginial Sprite and Midget and tell me what you think.

In fact I have another set of the filters that will need doing some day so would be very intrested in how this plays out.

Changing the subject slightly, I see that your website is featured prominantly in Moss Motors Latest email. Congratulations!

There is a powder paint called "Silver hammertone" that is pretty close to the paint you are looking for IIRC.
Cheers!

I'd like to see this e-letter, I didn't get it, please PM me for an email address, I'd like to see how Team Sprite are getting on and such....

Oh, thought everyone got that.

Moss promoting the Team Sprite site.

I must admit, thats pretty cool. It's fun to watch the girls react every time someone they don't know says something nice about the project. We've been slow getting started again with two gone and two "fresh" ones, but I think this month will see some big changes.

Re: Moss promoting the Team Sprite site.

Kind of tough to keep a project on track when folks leave.
