This one by Watts at least has the rest of the piece. So many of times one only hears the beginning (slow) part. It only starts to get interesting after a minute or two in.
The 1st movement is where it's at for me, it's grief (emotion)set to music. The rest gest a little too showy for me. For me, music is about conveyance (sic?) of feeling, not a display of proficiency. Too many folks readin' music and not sounding feeling. That being said, I can't play anything for squat....
Wouldn't generally disagree. However, any professional musician would say the same thing (though often technique reveals that emotion).
The Moonlight second movement may sound a little technical but it really is not. It is also a great piece for playing after your fingers memorize where to go. The third, however, is a whole nother thang. Way over my head. I can't even think as fast as it goes.:sorrow:
