Woohoo! Tomorrow, after six months, I turn the key to see if my TR6 is healed. Just have to add anti freeze and hook up the battery...and get more eyes to look for leaks.

Fixed the blown head gasket and hooked up an oil cooler plus several other tasks, so this will be the moment of truth.

Hoping to get back at the TR3 this summer!

She's alive! After cooking the Pertronix and finding that I had a bad set of points, she finally coughed and spit to life this evening. The timing is now dialed in fairly close, but the carbs need some attention (richened). Also have A leaky connection or two at the oil cooler lines.

It needs to be road worthy for a club event Saturday AM.

Awesome Possum, Doug!!!

SD, Only someone from Home...

Oil leaks are gone. I have questions now about the radiator and a possible leak. Tomorrow will be carb day. The maiden voyage could be to our club Tune Up Clinic.
Cellphone...check
AAA card....check

Wonder if Doug brought it out. It's an awful day today, raining and cold. He may have left it at home. I didn't make the drive from Ohio for the same reasons.

We had our annual Tune Up Clinic today. The car made the round trip, almost 40 miles, without a hiccup. Dialed in the timing and richened the carbs. The engine ran cool and smooth coming home. All of the connections are dry, so it was a successful day.
Knowing we were expecting rain, I never cleaned the car, so driving it wasn't wasn't a problem.
About 15 Triumphs showed up, not bad for a cold rainy day.

Glad to hear that you have it dialed in Doug. And it looks like we'll get the cold weather that you had as well as the rain.

We had gorgeous weather and I took several long rides in the TR8 today, including a 40 minute trip with my wife riding shotgun.

I'm glad I did because we are supposed to get 3" of badly needed rain tomorrow and more on Monday, but no one is complaining, including me.

Yesterday was as beautiful as today was ugly. I've heard reports of snow on Monday.
Glad you could enjoy your beautiful day.

Ugly doesn't begin to describe what they are calling for. There are winter storm warnings out, calling for up to 8 inches in western pa and 12 ton18 in the mountains. It was 77 on Friday.

Lots of trees down in Indiana. The drive today was NO fun.

We only got heavy rain all night, which was 3-3.5". It was bad enough to shut RT95 down completely for several hours north of Providence, which has never closed for this reason before. I had to drive at 15mph for about 10 miles this morning as a final segment of the storm moved through southern RI from CT.

We had no snow, just rain. Monday is my Indiana day, but was quickly changed to tomorrow.
It's been a unique Spring.
