Super day!! Actually got some work done on OBI! roughed in some body work at the rear and trial-fit Spitfire bonnet-latches...I like the change from the Jeep-style!
It started here today! We always rake and pick up all the grass and dead matter..until this year when one of our "neighbors" stopped by and said, "I just put a match to mine" Hmmm...that was fun! I guess the pyro in me had a great time!! Plus, natural fertalizer!
We're in a totally opposite circumstance. For twenty years we'd just pile it up in the back yard and light it off... Whoever did it would be there with a garden hose and monitor the whole time...
This year we seem to be in some "severe drought condition" with "fire nazis" someplace in the neighborhood. Two neighbors have been called on in the last two weeks for burning. Fire department shows up and reads 'em th' riot act. This is the first time in that twenty years we've had fire trucks show up for "smoke".
Funny enuff, in that same period of time we've had NO fires from controlled backyard burning.
We've had TWO house arsons and a deliberately started brushfire... something's upside-down in Denmark.
