finally the video of the drive to norway 2010

Re: finally the video of the drive to norway 2010

That's really cool. How I'd love to have a Spridget in that part of the world. Having a Sprite in LA is like having a mistress in a convent.

loved the video - wish there were a few more corners in Central Ontario too. It is cool to see Spridgets running in the terrain for which they were designed.

Re: finally the video of the drive to norway 2010

You know folks pay big bucks to do what you are doing. Enjoy it to the fullest. You only go around once.

Re: finally the video of the drive to norway 2010

Found it (Trollstigen) on Google Maps .

Looks like fun. 9% grade, 600 m climb--even a 43 HP Bugeye could do it. Could do it on a bicycle, for that matter. Might beat the Bugeye.

Re: finally the video of the drive to norway 2010

oh yes! the MG club here is very active during the summer. livening the dream. watch this space for more stories!

Trollstigen -- Norway

The Trollstigen or ‘The Troll Ladder’ as it’s known in English, is a steep winding mountain road located in the Rauma region of Norway.

With it’s steep 9% gradient and incredible 11 hairpin bends, the Trollstigen is a popular tourist location for driving enthusiasts alike.

Drivers who manage to conquer the challenging road are rewarded with a viewing balcony at the top, offering spectacular views of the winding turns and the Stigfossen waterfall which also runs down the mountainside.

Enjoyed the video and photos. Great stuff!

From the angle of the shot, this photo (below) looks like the cars are headed off a giant ski jump.
(and to their doom)
