It rained most of last night. When I went out & got
the paper,it had pretty much ended.
A little after 7AM I looked out the window,I thought
that the neighbors had turned on their outside light.Turned
out to be a decent coating of snow.
Leaving our driveway,I proceeded to slowly drive down
the road,as it was a little slippery. What irritated me was that
a couple of cars came up behind me fairly rapidly, but I proceeded
cautiously.
What's wrong with some people?

Cripes, Tom!!! It went down to 45°F overnight down here and I'm bundl'd up like Nanook...

Doc - had to chuckle when you said it went *down* to 45. Here we're waiting for it to go *up* to 45.

I spent the first twenty years of my life "up there" in western PA. I remember "winter". Took five years after my Air Force term to plot the escape to Florida. We stopped at Tampa, IMHO we shoulda kept goin' all the way to the bottom!

We've already had a long stretch of cold weather and snow here in Alberta, since Christmas weekend... One or two warm days and we're back into a deep freeze... Day time highs of -26 Celcius, that's still cold in Farenheit too... 🄶

With a too-vivid recollection! When snow "squeaks" under your feet, it's time to Get The H*ll Outta There!!

S.S. "Stayin' South!"
Yeah, but it sure is pretty!

Mickey - is that a photo of what you see out your window this morning?

Looks *great* to us ol' Yankees. Time for a St Nicholas (hot chocolate with peppermint schnaps).

Yep - pic was actually taken last year, but Monday's 3" snowfall is very much still with us.

7AM yesterday in our back "yard" we had an in-ground infestation of hornets exterminated. Found it a week ago, both of us hit. Swelling of the sting sites finally reduced.

The PETA people will be contacting you soon.
They should go after th' hornets!

Mitsy had two big welts for a week, wrist and calf. Amazing how quickly an old lady can run when motivated tho! :p

Mine was on the back of my neck, hurt for days. Still have a small swelling area.

we have friends who live in a townhouse and discovered to their dismay that a neigbour lady was not just feeding the squirrels but the wasps as well. 🤬

Old? So,when do you get out of the hospital?
She, being the honest, truthful individual she is would scarcely deny the term.

...and besides, she hasn't looked here on the BCF in ages... šŸ˜
