That's a nice, clean install there. Well done.

Looks really good- just like the rest of the car!
Where did you put an antenna?

The radio looks great....buuuuuut the steering wheel might need a bit of adjustment. :jester:

Well the antenna isn't really a finished project yet. Currently it is installed in the engine compartment on the shoulder area of engine compartment next to the brake/clutch master cylinder. It's encased in styrofoam box. I'll try and get a pic of it tomorrow. It works great with the engine off, but when it's running it picks up a lot of distortion. But the radio plays USB Flash drives, so I have one with 26 CD's of 60's and 70's music loaded on it that I listen too and I can also plug in my IPOD to the radio.

Kellysguy: Nothing wrong with the steering wheel, I had just backed into a sunny spot to take the pics, and the wheels weren't straight. I didn't realize the steering wheel was in that position when I snapped the pics

Nice job.

I know, it was a joke.

Looks like you got the wrong radio. It's set to 1966 and your car is a '67. :jester: ( another joke, but that would be kinda cool if it was intentional)

I know they were jokes but just to clarify, the title says 1967 but the vin is GAN3L50127 the GAN4's started production in Oct of 1966. So I refer to my car as a 66 now. The CD playing at the time of the photo is one of the Time Life collections I have, the 1966 one from the collection of the 60's. Tomorrow I'll put up some pics of the speakers and antenna.

Nice! Keep one eye open when you walk away. Think very hard about mounting a hidden antenna, (if at all,) and "leaving" a shop rag in front of the shifter when you park in public. And leave it in the garage overnight.

Ask me how I know.
