After a lot of work we've got the bonnet painted and ready to go on the chassis. This is not base coat clear coat.

Looks nice Wayne ! Glad to see one of us is making some progress. Maybe I'll get somewhere over the Christmas break. 16 days off !!

A little up date.
Boxing Day turned out to be full of presents for us. We did some small touch up on the bonnet after sanding and buffing out. Added fluids to the engine while waiting on the paint to dry. Ok, lets see if it will start. The hose clamps were junk and after hand pumping leaked almost in each connection. Fixed. Pulled choke and it turned over a couple of times and fired right up. Ran smooth but had to jack the idle up 900 RPM's, oil pressure 55 at idle. Clutch worked fine, having trouble getting in reverse, so will be getting the interior out, I knew he was in to much of a hurry to get a new radio in with blue tooth for his phone. All gears looked good, so it has to be a adjustment in the shifter. If that's the only problem we have after going all the way to the frame, I'll take it and be happy.
