OK...so the radiator clean out was a while back and I need to paint. The old paint and cleaning dunk tank stuff is still on it. What is best for prepping the radiator for paint that is not very abrasive to the fins? I got sucked in and picked up some of the Eastwood radiator paint. Just black....thanks for the help!
 
If you don't have an option to dip it, most simply hose off, degrease and repaint. Not optimal but seems to be fairly standard practice.
 
I just recently cleaned mine with a light wire cup brush on a drill. Made pretty quick work of it with good results.
