I put two coats of redcoat inside after cleaning it out good and cutting a hole to remove the strainer and clean the tank out good. I made two metal plates and used 32 small stainless steel screws to seal off the hole that I made. I then coated the top of the tank with Por-15 and its drying. I hooked up the gauge and calibrated it with the adjustment on the back. here is a photo of the fnished tank before painting.

Boy is that going to solve some problems.

Is the Redcoat easy to work with? I used Creem tank sealer and it was a pain.

[/ QUOTE ] I did not think it was that bad. No wonder its what the radiator shops use. I could hve probably done it without cuttin the hole but I just had to get in there and clean and check the condition and remove that strainer. I could have removed the strainer through the gas filler hole but it would have been a real pain. Now I pretty much know its right.
