Finally back at the E [again]

Been spending more quality time with the E Type lately. I have the brake system nearly done and the anti-roll bar is all that remains to be done on the rear suspension. I just ordered "poly" bushes for the rear anti-roll bar from SNG. Hope that isn't a mistake (most of the rubber ones are cheap after market and prone to disintegrating). Hope to have that all installed this week end and also have the brakes bled (finally).

Good!! Now ya can come down here an' help us out with this S-III cooling system!!!

:smirk:

I admire folks who restore E types. One of the prettiest cars on the planet, but notoriously complicated and expensive to restore.

Intestinal fortitude, and lotsa cash . . . :cryin:

mehheh... I don't OWN one. :smirk:

I just work on th' bloody things for folk with less tenacity than our fearless leader.

And I think most folks have less tenacity....The way I see it is when I can finally afford one (don't laugh, boys gotta have dreams...) I will have acquired all skills necessary, so the resto should be short and sweet. I have 2 2 plus 2's in at the moment. Jag concours in 2 weeks. Back to work!!

I'll keep to my Lotus platforms. :smirk:

Ooohhh!!! They'd highlight me calves! :smirk:
