Fired it up (63 BJ7) for the first time in almost 20yrs. Ran better the I thought. Temp and oil pressure are really good. My 1st problem is that I have to keep the choke on a little and the idle is a little too high (1100) or it stalls. I am going to read up on the carbs before i try to adjust them. Anyone have any good pointers? Thanks everyone for all your help, I wouldn't be this far without a lot of you.

Great!!!
1000 or 1100 RPM on the car tach is about correct as uncalibrated the car tachs read about 200 to 300 RPM high,-Fwiw-Keoke
