This is a shot of my 72 TR6 at the 2007 Greenwood car show in Seattle. Second time entered, first time to take home the first place award - "Best 60+ Sports Car".

Whoo Hoo, look at me, winner, winner!

Bothell, eh?

Ever been 132 and 132?

Looks familiar.

I'm Kirkland.
You'll see my LBC in my photo on left.

Bothell goes a long ways.......you as far north as Thrasher's Corner, or as far south as Wayne Golf Course?

Dave

Hello there! I am just north of downtown Bothell. Since I picked this one up in 87', I've traveled all over the Northwest. I'll keep an eye for ya!

WHOA! You won something in a car show without your bonnet open?? I've not participated in any show like that! My experience is that the judges wont even look at you unless your engine is shown, bright, and clean. Always made me feel bad for the Lotus/Super 7 drivers, as they never get judged, because the bonnet has to come completely off, and they never have a place to put it. Congratulations though!

Congratulations, beautiful car and so near my birthplace of Vashon Island.

Great looking car! As for the bonnet being open and engine clean...I have never had an issue open or closed. Probably not in the same league though.

Now that I think of it, this was the only show I have ever attended where I did not open the bonnet. The engine compartment is very clean as well. Perhaps the judges were tired of giving the awards to the Healey's and JAG'S that are there every year with their bonnets open? Anyway I was happy to get something for all the polishing. Take what you can get and got out of town? There are so many nice cars on this site! Thanks for compliments!

Congratulations on the award! Does make one feel good doesn't it?

Good going, Tinkerman

I think it's really neat just to have folks wave or come over and reminisce about their Triumphs they had back in the day. Or how I'm driving a car with Lucas electronics and everything still works!!!!!!!!
