I can remember when the first versions of kit cars came out in the mid-60s. The Valkrie comes to mind. And the Avenger. Thought they were fine back then but the interiors sucked bigtime. Yours really has it all together, interior and exterior. The car just cries for a dark color. The gold just did not do it justice. You made an excellent choice of colors and excellent work as well! Congrats on a job well done. Now it's off to ebay to dream;o)

Yes, kit cars like the Fiero conversions that look like Ferraris until you walk up to them and see the Fiero interior are not my preference!

I used early Miata leather seats, tossed out the junky dash and modified an MGA coupe dash that I covered in the same colour and created a carpet set from part of an MGA set plus some yards of carpet for the rear. All the inner covered panels had to be created and I was able to use an MGB spare tire cover (important as the spare sits in plain view on the rear deck under the rear window. Took a bit of planning.

Headliner was about the hassle you'd expect and hanging the dash required some surgery as it mounts lower than an MGA (had to recess the steering column up into the dash a bit).

Beautiful, beautiful car.
As a bit of trivia, the wife of the guy that made the Fiberfab bodies was named Jamaica. Thus the Fiberfab "Jamaican".

I did not know that! I figured that it might have been a girlfriend or something.

I am going to have to figure out a T shirt for my wife to wear. "Jamaican me Crazy" was one that came to mind. Anybody got any others?
