Would anyone have some new red fiber washers I could buy? They're for carb jets (1960 Solex 32PAITA).

The sources I've contacted (Grainger, MMC, MarylandMetric) only sell in packs of 100. Even local parts shops don't have them. Ebay UK does have "kits", but not including the sizes I need.

I'm looking for four each:

11mm nominal Inside Diameter
10mm nominal ID
9mm nominal ID
8mm nominal ID

Can't guarantee anything the shop that I work at does carry metric fiber washers, I will check tomorrow ,will let you know tomorrow evening ,Bob , I'm pretty sure that they have them.
 
Hi, Mac , the fiber washers we have at the shop are not metric,I went ahead and got the washers closest to the sizes you wanted, if you want them I will send them to you, no charge at all, sorry but good news I have the copper sealing washers in metric, Bob

Just an update. If you're looking for fiber washers in small numbers in various sizes, I had great results by contacting G and S Brough Ltd. in Birmingham England. They'll make what you request, and the charges are *very* reasonable. Small envelope shipping from UK to USA is also very inexpensive.

Also,Tom I just found out Ace Hardware stores carries them, if you have a well supplied hardware store in town they should be able to help, any way I have fiber washers coming your way. Bob
 
Thanks Bob. My local Ace stores didn't carry them, tho' I suppose I could have driven to stores in Hartford or Springfield or Worcester. Said they could order them, but I hate to order something like that when the guy at the store doesn't have details on exact measurements, and I'd have to wait 3 to 5 weeks anyway.
