Drove a new one yesterday. Pretty impressive. Surprisingly snappy performance for 1.4L plus 4 wheel disk overdone power steering adn A/C. This was a Sport model with 5 speed gearbox. Also bigger on the inside than outside. Only thing wrong was the color, Olive Green. Much too close to U.S. Army olive drab. Shades of being "back in the boots."
 
A neat looking little car. The dealer in Utah just opened up -- I've seen them up close but not driven one yet. In general, I like it. Small and nippy. When my Honda Fit is retired I could see us looking seriously at one (we've no kids, so no need for the extra people space).
 
Of course, when your Honda FIT is retired, you can add to your signature line that you "had a fit".

Having seen and driven the first lot of Topolinos, plus the 600's (on my freaking tombstone it will say, "He regrets having been STOOOOOPID enough to have owned a FIAT 600") I wouldn't touch one with a pole while dressed in a full anti-contamination suit.

Like, what if General Misunderstanding decided to come out with a new car and called it the Vega?
Would anyone who remembered the first Vega buy one?

And it's really hard to believe that Chevrolet sold over

have a dealer in Rochester may take a trip up to look. What was the sticker price in OK?
 
Wasn't serious about buying so didn't check the price. Web page indicates about $20K as fitted out.
