"Offered here is a Healey 3000 MKIII, which is prepared by the Rawles outfit near Altonto FIA specification for historic circuit racing. The car has competed, successfully, in club racing but has done little in the last 10 years, due to family committments. This is the only reason for the sale.

Finished in racing green with black interior, the car is equipped with a 260bhp, 3000cc engine, which is mated to a 4 speed gearbox. The engine is said to have had a mere 4 hours of racing use since a full rebuild and the car is described as being, once again, ready to be used in anger." Guide Price: ÂŁ47500 to ÂŁ52500

Yes that car was prepared by Bill Rawles and will be very good. He has had it for sale on behalf of the owner but I guess they have now decided to put it to auction. There is a limited market for full blown race Healeys as the AH Club Race series has ended for the Big Healeys and most of the available events are high end stuff, so you need a big race budget. You could drop a rally cam in it an use it on the road.
