I didn’t see the car this morning on the race coverage, but it could have been removed or photoshopped?
Nor did we see it. Likely not photoshopped....

...but to what end?!?!

AFAIC we had the best seats in the house now: F1 TV Pro subscription.

We could easily go to Miami, be put up for the week at relatives. But the price of even the "cheap seats" is prohibitive. And there would be no way to get the views and information during the race we get for cheap by comparison.

But I'm an old feart, we would go to Watkins Glen as "The Annual Pilgrimage" and whether we parked in the "Lotus Corral" or the Alfa one, the gate fee and a sleeping bag would allow me to be there all weekend and carry cameras anywhere, for less than a hundred bucks. Much less.

I blame Bernie.

To no end….they are ultra rich folks that need to out do the other.
It started in vintage racing with the transporters.
I knew some rich folk that would go to the Colorado river with jet boats and duallies. It was a race down and back as well as on the water. If the boat or dually wasn’t the fastest, it was in the shop Monday morning for more power.

David,
You're right about the river. My cousin has a place there with a 600HP big block jet boat, but it is so crowded you can only get on the throttle for a few seconds before you have to back off.
I prefer the old school way. In the late seventies I lived near Shannonville Motorsport Park and Jeremy Dale would drive a Jag XKSS 150 miles down from Toronto, and Fred Willetts would tow his Bugatti 35B up from Pennsylvania on an open single axle trailer and sleep in a tent.

When we were having breakfast at the hotel in Elkins,VA,
there was a show on with a couple in a big Healey.Turns out that
they were involved with the race at Monaco
Unfortunately,we had to go before the race started.
