Well that stinks. I know you like the steel ones, but maybe as a lat resort you could look at the fiberglass ones made by Smoothline: https://www.smoothline.com/composite_body_panels.php I don't have any experience with their fit, but tey went on a lot of Healeys when they were just cars.
well after a 23 hour roundtrip drive covering 1350 miles and some coinage i bought a set of never mounted aluminum fenders...hopefully they will fit without major work! i took the seats...not the drivers of course...out of my unmarked 91 california hiway patrol restored mustang and took off! i can certainly say those cars with a non adjustable steering wheel and factory seats have to be one of the most uncomrtable cars on the road at that time! njo wonder most law enforcement agencies did not like them! and they are really small inside! oh well i got my fenders that was the goal!
Good luck Larry. Are you putting rallye vents in the fenders? Just think if you were a suspect being placed in the back of one of those pursuit Fox bodies ... cruel and unusual punishment!
no i have a louvered hood on the car but am not planning on the ralleye vents at present. initial fit looks to be pretty good on the fronts. im probably going to run healey road wheels and healey hubcaps. the rear fenders have a small flare and i hope to be able to run a widened 7 inch steel healey wheel and cap! just have to determine ...
