I'm shortly going to assemble the fenders onto the shrouds/body and have lined up all the original mounting hardware on the bench. There are two types of spire nut- a long and a short and there are only six of the short ones. Does anyone know where they were located originally? I got a generic replacement fender fitting kit which also has the same short ones so presumably they are original.
