Well I was either a very brave soul or a complete idiot today. I drove the TR6 to work today(100 miles round trip). The ride in was wonderful. It was 80 degrees and clear. Well when I left to go home it was 99 degrees and humid as heck. I was fine until I hit traffic lights of which there were at least 15. Sitting there in the sun with the black interior was like being in a sauna. Of course I turned the fan on high and pointed the air duct at me. It was so refreshing. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif But once I got outside the city limits it was smooth sailing. I bet I lost 10 lbs in sweat. But ya know what? It was worth every droplet of sweat. I don't often get to take the SIX to work, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
 
Go figure Jerry! 99 degrees you say? Ain't you
like 1,500 miles more northern than I am here in the
tropics? I thought it got warmer as you go further south.
Looks like it gets warmer as you go more north.

We had 84 degrees today in San Juan............
and right now we are being gully washed by tropical
storm Chris.
 
over 100 in Boston today, didn't leave my office till 4:30; jumped in the wives Volvo with nice cold AC, even the trains speed limits on the trains were reduced due to track bowing; something we don't get much in these parts. Rushed home & took the boys out on the boat to have some supper & some swimming in 66deg water. Burr, talk about shrinkage...

Finally getting a break from the heat over here. Clear, cool, and 70 degrees right now.
 
It was well over 100 here today too.....I love it! Stormed like crazy just now though, so I suspect it will be cooler tomorrow.....I've been driving the Caddy with recently rebuilt A/C(just in time) but my wife has been driving her MGA....so far it's performed well in the heat.
 
68 at 10:00, may make 75 by afternoon. We just talk about heat, rattlesnakes & scorpions to keep people out of Arizona.

I tried to talk my local club into a 100/100 event -- 100 miles in 100 degree heat -- but couldn't get much interest.

Alas, Greenie is still waiting for his tranny transplant. He's never overheated on me, so had he been in running order, I was planning on driving him to work one day this week. *sniffle*

wish I had the same problem. First day of holidays today, wanted to take the tr out to the lake. Torrential rain and about +45F.
