OK, so I know this is not an english car......but this car LOOKS too good to be true. Take a peek @ E-Bay listing 320787804098 for a 1985 MB 380 SL. LOOKS like it's got 33k orig miles and it is selling for no reserve????? Something just doesn't seem right? Anyone know this seller or close enough to check it out as it looks PERFECT for my wife.

26 years old, driven less than 1300 miles/year. If that was all done 2 miles at a time, the engine may be a mess inside.

OTOH it may just be a canny seller. It's a lot easier to get a bidding war started with no reserve and he's already got 14 people trying to beat each other out with almost a week to go on the auction. One of them just upped his bid within seconds of the previous bid ...

About an hour drive for me, but Scott (smaceng) is about 10 minutes away. Like Tom said they were very popular here.

I'm the smaceng that Paul was talking about above. If you are serious about bidding, let me know and I can scoot over there this weekend. Let me know what your concerns are.
Scott.....please PM me.
