Fall is in full form here in the PNW and the unusual dry October has left the leaves on the trees longer, which now display a spectaclar array of colors. I take this drive annually every fall just before I winterize my '65 until the coming spring.
I think the Big Healey enjoyed it this year as much as I did.

Come "ride along" as my open top driving season fades to an end.

We are headed for a Fall Colors Tour in the Nevada City (CA) tomorrow morning. There should be 20 to 25 big Healeys. Probably the last big drive of the year for us. Your car is beautiful.

I enjoyed the ride, thanks. Did you use a GoPro camera?

Fall is the best time for enjoying a open car drive. Here in western New England there are plenty of good ones. My favorite is driving north through the Litchfield hills of CT, up through the Berkshires into southern VT.

I agree, the sound of the big Healey six is my favorite song, but in this case my video microphone picked up way to much wind noise. I needed a little John Bon Jovi to help cover it. I shot this using an Ultra HD Flip video camera tape to the rear view mirror.
I always make this run during the week, mid-day as there's little to no traffic. Forget about it during the weekend........too many bicyclists.
