My three grown children went together and got me a ride around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in one of the two seat Dallara powered by Honda
Indy race cars. I had no idea that 180 mph was so fast. It's hard to imagine that the race drivers go about 50 mph faster than I went and that they can do that for 500 miles. What an unforgettable experience.

Very cool!

My kids got me beer. :glee:
Last year, my boss's kids bought him a really nice NA Miata.

In addition to some nice gifts from my kids, I got up early on Fathers Day and took my TR6 for a ride. I was headed north on a single lane road in the city and heading south was another TR6.... We BOTH slowed down and gawked at each other in amazement. What's the odds of that happening?
I guess we were both in the right place at the right time on Fathers Day!

For Father's Day, we went to Blackhawk Farms for the vintage races. Got to see a group of early cars - MG TC. TD, etc. and two real Type 35 Bugatti run, and then the group of Mgb, big Healey's, Triumphs, etc. run - those guys were quick! Very sweet......and something I SO want to do! There is a VERY nice blue Midget for sale on eBay right now.....hmmmmmm :D Where is that winning Lotto ticket.......??!!

Son got me some bullets.
