Father's Day brings wonderful gifts

This Father's Day is extra special for me.

On Friday my wife and I learned that the two children we have been fostering for the last 4 years are adoptable and we will be adopting them!

Then today, I got to pick our 56 Mk1
I'll get into details and pics in a future post.

I hope you all have as great a Father's Day weekend as I am!!

Wow, Peter! What a fantastic Fathers' Day present for you. Foster parenting is a special calling, and to be able to make them "your own" has to be the icing on the cake.

Congrats, Dad!

Oh, and congrats on the Mk1 thing, too!

Cool. I gotta wait 'til my anniversay to see our new young'n. And the cars are sitting around the yard waiting patiently for me to fix them. congratulations.

:winner1: You! Congrats on the MK1 and what was that??? Oh yes the children. I say the winner is you because these children will do nothing but give you all the good things in life that you can only get from children. I am so proud of you and your wife. To 'choose' children is a special situation indeed.
