Father and son space cam

Chris:

Great stuff!

You may be familiar with a ~similar project~ by a group of MIT kids. They built a space cam for about $150 and also got some stunning photos. They used a trajectory website to help figure out the LZ (winds, temps, etc).

One of my brothers brought all of this to my attention and he's trying to get me and my SAE chapter to build one. Right now we're building a mini-Predator drone, so we're sort of doing something similar.

Otherwise, hope all is well. Blew my 1500 to smithereens at NJMP two weeks ago and am try to fit an ancient, stock 948 (and trans) in the car for our last event (at Watkins Glen, in 8 days).

amazing pics both - not wanting to hijack the thread but what happened with the engine Nial?

-This_ ....but never fear! I'm installing the 948 that came with the A35. It has 35 HP and has been sitting in a shed for 15+ years. I cleared all the spiders out of the bores, so it should be fine!

John: Not going to Turkey Bowl or my goose will be cooked! But I'm working a deal to rent one of the Entropy Sports Renaults for the EMRA 4-Hour at Summit....so I'll still probably get down there one more time in 2010.

Nah, a little J-B Weld and you'll be fine. :jester:

Are your 1500 days over?
