Fan shroud Red

Does anyone know what color "red" the original fan shroud color was? Is there a close match available or should i just leave it as is?

I used an enamel called "Chinese Red" and it was a very close match. Be sure to use a stiff brush and brush it on because that's how they did it at the factory.

Well, I can think of one place, but you would have to import it. (Sorry, I know that's not helpful, but it was just too good to pass up!)

I used a small bottle of Testor's red from the hobby shop.

Well what ever RED color you decide to use . You can mask off the radiator tank spray it on then immediately use a small 1' BRUSH TO GRAIN IT.

in the restoration I have used a can of Signal Red- but the results in normal use aren't good with the heat, paint scrapped
I have some red paint for disk brake pads, heath resistent, I used this with brush, results are very good, after 3 years of long trips

I assume you want this for a 100-4 Fan Blade. My local Ace Hardware sells Massey Ferguson Red in a spray can & is a great match to original
