Fan pulley Needed

My fan pulley on my 1275 is the dual belt one, which is unnecessary since I have no smog crap on the car. Does someone have a spare single groove pulley?

David Anton at APT has a beautiful 4” billet pulley for the 1275 engine. Fits perfect as long as the cylinder head is not milled more than .040"

that is pretty. It would be the only pretty thing under my bonnet!

I have a couple of spare stock singles- not as pretty as that one above but---
I don't have any of the spacers.

Ah, my Frogeye friend, theirs more than just a shinny pulley that the eye perceives. That 4” pulley is designed not for looks, it’s for performance. It slows the water pump down whereby letting your cooling system and engine performance operate more efficiently.

I'd love to grab one of the stock pulleys, depending on price. I understand the pulleys are an underdrive, but I doubt it really adds much power. On newer cars, where you underdrive all the accessories, its noticeable. But with just the water pump....

I think that is from Jack's turbo car that he is parting out.

Well- now that I searched two days in the garage to find a pulley for Edd, just after I shipped it I came across my real stash!
Anyo one need a single groove pulley?

what is that black metal fan off of ? I had one of those on my 1275 but it didn't look like any other stock fan that I had seen before... yours is the only other one I have seen.

I think that it is called a "Safari fan" (or something else equally stupid sounding). I have seen it on a car before but can't remember where. That one came from Paul Asgeirsson's collection. It is the same diameter as a common Spridget fan (smaller than a Morris Minor fan).

I notice that not one of those pulleys is a single for a 1098/948. Dang. I like to carry a spare, and have not one at the moment, you having put my last one on..

See ya in a couple of weeks.

OOPs, my bad.... I was thinking CRANK pulley, not fan...

Now just stop and think. Everyone of those pullys was a car at one time. Frighting isn't it.
