Fan Belt Shortage?

Editor Read

I have some good news and I have some bad news

What you have discovered is right, well least ways as far as AH Spares are concerned, they can not get
them any more.

However, SC Parts have had some 17mm wide units in but it is a limited supply.

Both companies offer a 3/8 inch conversion kit for lots of drinking vouchers and of course that will mean that you could then fit the harmonic damper on the end of the crank for even more drinking vouchers.

We have 12 of the standard belts in stock and 20 of the cogged style for 100-4. I will ask our purchasing department to check with our suppliers to be sure they will continue to be available.

Shawn

Shawn, will you be getting in cogged belts for the T series? PJ

Thanks Shawn, although my friend was specifically interested in the concours-correct 3/4-inch belt for his 100M. Have any of those?

Sorry for the late reply. I keep getting logged out of the forum and when I post and ask to be emailed when a subsequent post is made rarely works.

Reid, as far as I can tell our 021-066 is the original type belt. We buy from AH Spare part number CHT137 and have plenty on hand. On a subsequent note AH Spares has plenty of the original style in stock.
PJ, the cogged belt for the T series is also on the shelf and in good supply under part number 434-125.

Shawn
