I considered one of those as a temporary for roadside emergencies. I would not think it would be a permanent replacement.

ever tried one of these, twist it appart, then twist it back together.

Bobs yer Uncle, get you where your going, I ran one for months without any issues.

I haven't seen one of those in years. I will say they do work and can get you out of a jam if your belt breaks while on the road! (y)
