Started up the Imp from that house in the background. Sounded like a whole hive of angry bees. Must have had a wicked cam in it as it wouldn't move unless several thousand revs were applied. (right behind the Imp is a town street going UPHILL which the Imp was at attempting to enter). I'll take your word for the identification as I never got close enough for a proper identification. It did have a number on the door so it may have been an actual race car but it didn't arrive with the rest of the the tour.
Appears there are TWO of those cars with the same number both right hand drive. It was the white one that sounded super
Enjoying the Falls Village pics. Bob. Thanks for posting. When I was in college and our school sports car club ran autocrosses, one of our entrants worked for an insurance company and was given an allowance to buy any new car he wanted. He showed up with something new every year which included a Z/28 and an Alpina BMW. One year he showed up with a hotted-up Imp with a lumpy cam and dual webers. That car went like stink and often took FTD.
