My race season maybe over, but there are still a few good weekends left for the street car. I always plan one last fall drive to enjoy the colors here in the NW.
I saver this top down drive each year reliving it in my mind throughout the cold winter months. What do you do before winter arrives?

Keep racing.

I still have three events on the calendar: VSCCA at Thunderbolt (NJ) next weekend, the VRG Turkey Bowl at Summit Point right after Thanksgiving and a VDCA event at Roebling Road in December.

In today's feature at Watkins Glen the pinion broke and I had to "retire" (I like that better than DNF). Nial was in my group and I believe he finished 5 or 6.

Michael,

I wish our race season would last a little longer, but our NW fall weather usually means rain. We do however a have a few dry weekends which give me the opportunity to stretch the legs on the '65 BJ8. Today was one such day. Old Hwy 14 in the Columbia River Gorge, sweet drive.
