Well List,
Today I removed the tranny to ready the car for a new (rebuilt) tranny and overdrive from QuantuMechanics.com. Overall, it went very smoothly, with the exception of the top bolts on the bell housing... with nuts on the backside of these bolts, the removal was difficult. I had my 7 year old help, and he was great.
The challenge is that two pieces of metal "fell out" while removing the Fascia (radio holder). Although I think they are for installation between the fascia and the radio (control knobs), I am unsure. Has anyone ever seem parts like these? I have them posted at https://www.triumphowners.com/679 under "Pictures of our TR6 Work. Any insight would be helpful. I hate not re-installing parts.
