Facet fuel pumps reliable?

:iagree:

After having just gone through this with Bugsy my '68 Sprite my local LBC Shop clued me in to the perfect OEM Replacement pump. Mounts just like factory original with one bolt, negative ground, goes tick, tick, tick and puts out 2-3.5 lbs. Available from Advance Auto Chain, Airtex Model E8016S Fuel Pump. As I recall < $50.00 and it is the perfect replacement. Quiet, not like hte Mr. Gasket POS I tried that sounded like a F-1 engine and almost immolated me as the rated 2-3.5 psi pump actually put out closer to 10 psi. Gas everywhere. Not fun.

Again Airtex E8016S - that's the ticket.

just bookmarked it - good article
