Facebook breach

I would think that any website or social media site where you post information to register has some vulnerabilities. It could happen here, or at Flickr, and my credit card account was hacked into once with my email and passwords changed by the hacker. So far I have survived, and I will remain in contact here and on Facebook with friends from around the country and around the world.

I'm on Facebook, mostly to keep in touch with family around the country. I don't worry too much because most of these breeches originate from outside of Facebook, or whatever site is being compromised, by folks that are compromised by being careless with what they click on on the screen.

I've never done FB and I have no regrets.

I use it occasionally to keep in touch with friends in Ireland, nothing else. Plus, use a different email account and server. PJ

I have not used it and have no plans to for personal use. However, I am going to be taking over a new FB page for our NAMI New Mexico organization soon, but for that I will be booting into a standalone Operating System from a separate hard drive and using an email address only associated with NAMI NM and NOT my personal email. I will have no personally identifying info.

I hope you can "hide" from The Great and Powerful OZ
