Since MS corrupted my hard drive and everything had to go restoring it I lost my log in info for Facebook. I use it very little and only to contact a couple friends who favor it, but Id like to get rid of the account, which I've tried with no success! I can't find a link to cancel the account which I forgot the password, any way to do this? PJ

Paul - if you've forgotten your FB password, you'll need to create another password.

Once you've logged in, you can "delete" your account (but that doesn't guarantee FB won't keep your info ...).

How to delete is on this page:

Well Facebook won't allow me to reinstall my original password. They say I'm blocked!! I have no idea why, never did anything off color or any posts against they're rules! They're just being a royal pain, they won't even let me cancel my subscription. So, I'll just delete it from my computer and forget it!

Paul, from what you said, I got that you are trying to reuse your old password? If that's the case, just make a new password to get in. Then delete your account. Many websites won't let you reuse a password. It's a bad security practice.

Greg, Just for the heck of it I tried this morning to log in and I keep getting, "This page not available at this time", try later. ??

Paul - don't try to log in - you have no password - and your account is blocked.

Try following the steps and links I gave in my first post above.
