F1 returns to the U.S.A.

Do they even know what an open car is there?

Indy should be the home of Formula One in the US.

Roundy,round for F1. Boring

The Formula One track at Indy was NOT roundy-round. It was a 13-turn layout. I went to every F1 race at the Speedway.

Well there you go then, Works for me. Is it inside the oval?

They utilized the front straight and Turn One of the oval. (Turn One of the oval became Turn 13 of the F1 track. The remainder of the track was built inside the oval.

They also use this track layout (with an additional chicane before Turn 13) for the MotoGP

Here's the road course at Indy (part of it, anyway). This was a few days after the 500 so some of the traffic barricades are still set up on the road-course:

Oh yeah!

...fat chance, tho. :madder:

I'll be honest, I'd rather watch paint dry. Give me real racing - Rally, Historic (not NASCAR) but just about anything that actually has action.

And Jeremy agrees - go to 7:10 of the video
