T-Series Extra MG TD Parts

PM sent.

Wait, there is no frame. Oh right I need some other parts too. Oh well, will have to pass on this batch.

Someone, somebodies I know are going to get some loved parts for sure.

Hi Tony, your TD is beautiful. I am also doing a frame off on my TD. The frame, suspension, engine are complete. Many of the body parts are painted, cream the same as yours. The tub is now mounted to the frame and about to be painted. I noticed you used cream welting and was wondering if this is factory correct? I've seen many with black welt and am undecided which I should. I have purchased cream from Moss some time ago, but then I also bought black. I would appreciate your comment.

Thanks, Bill

Welting should be painted body color...if its black, somebody restored the car incorrectly...one of my pet peeves on those cars & I'm constantly shocked that 'jedges' let it get by at judged car shows just because its so hard to match the welting to the body color!

...on my Sequoia Creme car, perfectly matched welting wasn't available through Moss so we painted some of their stock creme to match the body.....be prepared to wait some time for them to make the creme welting....& then, be prepared to get paint that'll work on the flexible welting.

I'm shocked by the fact that you're more picky than I am, Tony! I'm normally the one who is stuck on originality, but fender piping isn't a big concern of mine. Funny!

I'm intrigued about it also, Steve, but the piping is a real sticking point with me...though other things aren't so important!

Me too and mine is shot, If'n that black stuff is not too your liking Bill, I'll be sure and take it off'n yer hands /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif
