Semantic Verisign has a "security code" app that adds another layer of security to your log in (on participating web sites). It is called "VIP Access"
I'm using it on my bank (USAA) and PayPal so far. It works a little different on each. On USAA Website, I type in my user name, but for the password, I type in my USAA PIN number, followed by the 6-digit random verisign code from my iPhone App: XXXXYYYYYY Where XXXX is my USAA PIN and YYYYYY is the random number from my VIP App on my iPhone (changes every 30 seconds).
For PayPal, I still log in with with regular user name and password, but then go to a second screen where I enter the 6-digit VIP code from the VIP App on my iPhone.
Pretty cool way to add an extra layer of security. (And it works great)
