extra fuse box

Yes, I know I'm tip-toeing into the dark side but I have an extra original Lucas fuse box I'm considering using. Where is a good place to place it on the fire wall? There isn't a lot of room there. I was thinking on the verticle wall near the steering column (behind the rear carb). I'm assuming there would be little problem with combustion??? Where have others placed it?

Hi TH, Adding a second original fuse block is OK, but there is not much room. However, if you search out another box like the Land Rover ones I use it can be put in the same location as the existing fuse block.--Keoke
