I purchase the Hi dollar purple urethane diff mounts from TRF, while the diff is out being rebuilt I thought I would slide the mounts on the pins to see how they fit, well... the rear mounts have a metal tube inside of them and there is quite a bit of clearance when they go over the rear pins. has anyone used these and shouldnt the fit be better with out any slop??? the fronts seem to be better, and of course I through the darn packaging away so not sure if I can send them back

Call TRF and ask them what the I.D. of the mount should be and also what the O.D. of the pin spec is. They are very good to work with. My guess is if you have the wrong mounts, they will take them back and get you what you need.

the ID of the bushing is 0.625 and the od of the pin is 0.550, I found some tubing 0.625 with an ID of 0.560 so I am going to use that to make up the space
