I just broke a financial record for myself yesterday, of sorts... Some may know I'm a wee bit of a hat collector, and I wear them too... I've paid as little as $5 from the flea market... A couple of years ago I purchased a winter Tilley hat, sort of fedora style, a little over $100

On the weekend... I spotted a Dobbs New York fedora, "Canadian Beaver" fur, not felt but fur... Complete with a mint hat box (Dobbs New York), selling for $140, I left without it, a day later I was back to buy it for that $140, the most I've paid for a hat, and it feels good! :emmersed: But special occasions only...

Don't feel bad James, I own a couple of beaver hats and each was well over the century mark. You get what you pay for so enjoy.
