A very bad day for the owner of that Le Mans.
I'm betting that if it's a LeMans and not a GTO, it's a constructive total loss (e.g., insurer code language meaning that the car will cost more to fix than it's retail value).
If this is the case, I hope the owner had very good agreed value coverage.
Looks like the '40 Ford got lucky, maybe, I hope.

A rather drastic way of showing the relative safety of modern cars. I wouldn't want to be in a Le Mans passenger seat when it gets T-boned.
