Exhaust note

When I did the exhaust on my late BJ8, I tried one of the stainless systems and one of the mild steel systems and didn't like either. I ended up building my own using 1 7/8" tubing for both paths. I used one Smittys glasspack about 24" long for each pipe up front and another for each pipe under the boot as resonators. That's 4 mufflers total. I did not do a crossover since the late BJ8s had completely separate exhaust all the way back. My exhaust has a nice low rumble and a bit louder than the factory setup but no resonance anywhere that I can tell, plus it flows very well. I don't get any raspy sounds or popping at all.
