Gentlemen:
My car continues to sit as I await the end of the rainy season (no garage). Yesterday, between downpours, my friend came over to assist. Here's my current issue:
- I have a 1960 BE. I have the usual BE exhaust. I am getting an exhaust leak where the pipe and manifold join. Try as I might I just can get the perfect mating between the two parts. It has the standard clamp the from the side. The parts books do not indicate any type of gasket.
Is there a better was to join these? Is there a gasket of which I am unfamilar?
Also: Is anyone planning on attending the Bahamas Speed Week Revival at the end of November? If the Sprite is running I'll have it in the time trials and hill climb. We're expecting a big turnout.
