Cutlass

Although I've never used it before, I thought I'd ask whether anyone recommends using any type of sealer on the BJ8 exhaust/intake gasket. It's time to button up the manifolds now, and I don't want to do it one way, then find out that the weight of opinion favors the other way.

NO! Cutlass. Sealer it is not required and it will just make a MESS.---Keoke

That's what I thought, but with this amount of time and money in this labor of .... oh well, just want to make sure.

I am at the stage where i need to paint my BJ7 am i right in thinking that the block, manifold, starter, dynamo are all painted in green, am i best to spray it on.
I have a tin of paint from AH spares and a Moss aerosol can from SC parts, having applied the tin by brush and sprayed the other on the two colours seem different. I am at a loss as to which is the right colour. Help can't work out how to post a new title. Engine paint

HI chicken, I believe the BJ7 cars used a darker green color[Less Silver] than the later BJ8.Moss carries both colors. To maintain consistency in color you must stick with one supplier.---Fwiw---Keoke
